JAMMU, JULY 13 :

At least fifteen persons were injured after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident on way to Katra from Jammu at Domail on Tuesday.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a bus bearing registration number JK02S-6925 plunged into a gorge from a bridge near Domail following which a rescue operation was launched.

At least fifteen injured persons were rescued and rushed to CHC Katra wherefrom nine persons have been reportedly referred to GMC Jammu, they said.

The injured have been identified as Nishu Kumari (21) resident of Satwari Jammu, Ravinder Kumar (27) son of Mangu Ram resident of Satwari Jammu, Udhay (14) resident of Satwari Jammu, Sarvjote (13) resident of Kathua, Nirmal Kour (42), Ritu Sharma (40), Raiwal Dan (48), Ashwani Kumar (13), Darshna (37), Ramandeep Kour (22), Zahir Alam (36), Parshotam Dass (50), Himanshu (05), Dipanshu (13) and Suhani Sharma (15)—(KNO)
