Budgam, Apr 19 :
In a classic example that defines state of government schools in the Valley, a Middle School at Branwar in Budgam district with 170 students is operating out of three classrooms.
Besides, the school has only seven teachers and lacks proper washroom and play ground, locals told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Students said that they are suffering in absence of a playground, classrooms, proper washroom and lack of teachers.
“We have only 7 teachers for 170 students. Recently, desktops were brought to our school but unfortunately we have no teacher to teach computers. So much so, our teachers have to do cleaning as well because the school lacks a sweeper,” the students complained.
They have appealed to CEO Budgam to construct a new school building, washroom and provide more staff to school so that their studies are not affected—(KNO)
