BUDGAM, SEPTEMBER 23 :

A 32-year-old man was electrocuted to death while repairing a Low-Tension (LT) wire in Panahgund area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

They said that the man identified as Mudasir Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Ramzan, a local native and load carrier (tata-mobile) driver by profession, was repairing the LT when he came in contact with the live wire and died on the spot. The locals even took him to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

A police officer confirmed to GNS that death due to electrocution of the man and said that a case has been registered. (GNS)
