Srinagar, Sep 22 :

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has deputed 35 women officers from different departments to undergo a Training of Trainers (TOT) Programme on Capacity Building & Training of Women Officers as Disaster Managers for effective disaster management.

According to Government Order issued by JK(GAD) as per news agency Kashmir News Corner – KNC, the programme will be held at J&K IMPARD Srinagar from September 24 to 26.

The deputed officers include Block Development Officers (BDOs), Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Tehsildars, and engineers from different districts. The training is aimed at equipping them with necessary skills to respond effectively during disasters and strengthen grassroots-level preparedness. (KNC)
