POONCH, MAY 22:

Drug Inspector Poonch on Saturday conducted a surprise visit to Mendhar market following which the authority sealed at least four pharmacy shops allegedly for ‘not maintaining the records.’

An official part of the visiting team told GNS that the shops sealed included two in Ucchad and one each at Sakimaidan and Mankote.

“During the inspections the pharmacy shops were found bereft of records”, the official said adding that as warranted by law, all the four shops were sealed instantly.

The official has in the meantime urged all pharmaceutical outlets to maintain due records with them, to avoid any action. (GNS)
