New Delhi, Feb 28:

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the empanelment of 41 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers for holding Secretary-level posts in the Government of India.

As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Among those empaneled at Secretary level are Rohit Kansal, a 1995-batch officer of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre, and H Rajesh Prasad, currently Chief Secretary of Chandigarh and formerly posted in J&K.

The list also includes senior officers like Keshav Kumar Pathak (1990 batch, BH cadre), S. Gopalakrishnan (1991 batch, TN cadre), and Surendra Kumar Bagde (1993 batch, MH cadre).

In a separate order, the ACC approved the empanelment of 28 IAS officers as Additional Secretaries at the Centre. The list includes Mandeep Bhandari and Sarita Chauhan, both officers of the erstwhile J&K cadre. These appointments reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen senior administrative leadership and streamline cadre management at the central level. — (KNC)
