Wanted 5 Drug Smugglers Shahid Marazi of Kanlibagh Baramulla, Adil Gojri of Khanpora Baramulla, Atiqullah Lone of Sopore, Gh Mohiuddin of Sopore & Gulzar Ganie of Sopore arrested; 113 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance recovered at Khanpora & Janbazpora Baramulla during naka checking; Cases registered.
At Khanpora Baramulla
Police under the supervision of Sh. Sajjad Bukhari-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by DySP Prob Naveed Shokat, SHO PS Baramulla arrested wanted 2 Drug Smugglers namely Shahid Ahmad Marazi S/O Ghulam Qadir R/O Kanlibagh Baramulla & Adil Ahmad Gogri S/O Bashir Ahmad R/O Khanpora Baramulla during naka checking at Khanpora Baramulla who were coming from Khanpora towards Baramulla and upon seeing the naka party they tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During their personal search 12 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
At Janbazpora Baramulla
Police under the supervision of Sh. Sajjad Bukhari-JKPS, DySP Hqrs Baramulla assisted by DySP Prob Naveed Shokat, SHO PS Baramulla arrested wanted 3 Drug Smugglers namely Atiqullah Lone S/O Mohd Akbar Lone R/O Tujjar Sharief Sopore, Gh Mohiuddin Dar S/O Ab Ahad Dar R/O Ladoora Rafiabad Sopore & Gulzar Ahmad Ganie S/O Habibullah Ganie R/O Chijhama Rafiabad Sopore during naka checking at Janbazpora Baramulla near Juice Factory who were coming from Chakloo towards Baramulla and upon seeing the naka party they tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully.
During their personal search 101 grams of contraband Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from them and were taken into custody immediately.
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Baramulla and investigations set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
