SRINAGAR , SEPTEMBER,28 :
A 50-year-old man’s dead body was found lying in a mysterious condition at his house in Ban area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday.
Locals told the news agency that the deceased, who was self-employed, had likely taken his own life and following which the local police rushed to the deceased’s house.
The deceased has been identified as Feroz Ahmad Naik (50) son of Ghulam Nabi Naik, a resident of Ban, Kulgam.
Police while confirming the incident said that the dead body has been shifted to a hospital for the postmortem. “The dead body will be handed over to the family members after the completion of all medico-legal formalities,” police said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and inquest proceedings have been set into motion.
