He suffered bullet injury in neck, stable: SSP Sgr

Srinagar, Feb 28 :

A policeman was shot at by the unidentified gunmen in Dhobi Mohalla area of Batamaloo on Konday evening.

Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a police inspector identified as Sheikh Firdous, son of Sheikh Abdullah of Dhobi Mohalla was shot at by the unidentified gunmen outside his home.

He was immediately rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal told KNO that he was shot at by unknown militants outside Masjid and has suffered bullet injury in neck.

He is stable and undergoing treatment, SSP said—(KNO)
