Days after Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar took charge as Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, she conducted an extensive tour to Sopore town and also visited sub-district hospital to review necessary facilities being provided to the patients.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), she took stock of various facilities being provided to the patients at the hospital.
DC interacted with the patients and attendants to get first hand appraisal of the same during which several issues were projected by them with regard to their convenience.
The official said that she assured them that all the requisite issues will be sorted out on priority.
While emphasizing on maintaining hygienic surroundings in and outside the hospital, besides, terming sanitation vital for achieving good health standards, she directed the concerned to provide better and qualitative health care facilities to the patients.
