Body of a girl who jumped into river Jehlum near in Baramulla district on Wednesday has been retrieved on Saturday.
A Police official told SNS that after hectic efforts his body was retrieved from the river.
He added that it was not immediately known as to what prompted the girl to take such an extreme step.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in concerned police Station and have launched further investigations in this regard, he added.
