Govt attaches SSP Traffic, Highway; SSP Ramban to hold charge

Srinagar, Sep 28 :

Amid widespread outrage in Kashmir over stranding of apple trucks, the Jammu & Kashmir Government has attached Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, National Highway, Shabir Ahmad Malik.

In an order, a copy of which is in possession of news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Government has ordered attachment of Shabir Ahmad Malik.

“In the interest of administration of Shabir Ahmad Malik, SSP Traffic, NHW, is hereby transferred and attached with police headquarters, J&K, with immediate effect. Ms.Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban, shall hold the additional charge of the said post, till further orders,” reads the order, a copy of which is lying with KNO—(KNO)
