PATTAN , JUNE 24 :
Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Pattan on Thursday constituted a team of three officers to ascertain the allegations leveled against the maternity ward workers of Trauma Hospital Pattan by people, alleging that they are collecting money from attendants at the time of newly born baby.
According to a statement to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), an order issued in this regard reads that it has come in the notice that the nursing staff and maternity ward workers of Trauma hospital Pattan are demanding money from attendants at the time of newly born baby.
In the backdrop of above, it become necessary to get matter investigated from independent officers and accordingly team following officers is constituted to enquire into the matter. The team comprises of Tehsildar, SHO and BMO Pattan.
Block Medical Officer Pattan shall render all assistance to above mentioned officers to arrive at a logical conclusion. The detailed report should reach to this office within three days, it said—(KNO)
