PATTAN ,NOVEMBER, 12:
On routine naka checking near PP Mirgund, Police under the supervision of SI Ather Parvaiz, IC PP Mirgund arrested two drug peddler namely:-
- Umer Ahmad Khanday S/O Nazir Ahmad R/O Mujgund, District Srinagar.
- Nasir Manzoor Sheikh S/O Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh R/O Lawaypora, District Srinagar.
and recovered 10 Kgs of poppy straw and 3 grams of Contraband Herion like substance from his possession.
Case under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation set in motion.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
