Kashmiri politicians civil society to attend round table conference in New Delhi

SRINAGAR,JUNE ,16 :

Center for Peace and Progress has organized an important conference on ‘Another Look at Article 370 and 35A’ on June 17, Saturday at 2 pm at the India International Center in New Delhi, in which prominent personalities from Jammu and Kashmir will participate.In this round table discussion , former Chief Ministers of Jammu and Kashmir, and National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah,PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, Awami National Conference Senior Vice President Muzaffar Shah, Member of Parliament Justice (R) Hasnain. Masoudi, CPIM leader Muhammad Yusuf Tarigami, senior leader of People’s Conference Nizamuddin Bhat and well-known figures associated with civil society, Kashmir watchers , have been specially invited to the meeting.

In this meeting, apart from the important discussion on Article 370 and 35A, there will also be a discussion on the elections and the restoration of statehood in Jammu and Kashmir. Participants of the meeting will present their point of view.

Well-known personalities associated with the Pandit community will also participate in this meeting, including Air Chief Marshal (R) Kapil Kak, eminent lawyer and Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Ashok Bhan, apart from Jammu. Kashmir People’s Party’s Sheeban Ishai will also participate in confronce. Head of Center for Peace and Progress and well-known track-two-diplomat OP Shah is also participating in this day-long meeting.
