Baramulla, Jun 16 :

At least 11 persons including three minors were injured after they were attacked by stray dogs in Chandoosa area of Baramulla in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Reports reaching the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that stray dogs attacked and injured 11 persons including three minors at Chandoosa village of Baramulla district.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for necessary treatment, it said.

Confirming the incident, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sheeri, Dr Naseer told KNO that they received eleven persons, which include three minors aged between 5-8 years old, with dog bite injuries.

The injured were treated with vaccines and as such they are out of danger, BMO said.

Meanwhile, locals of the area here have appealed to the authorities to act against increasing menace of stray dogs in the area—(KNO)
