SOPORE, AUGUST 13:

Three persons including a trooper sustain minor injuries after militants lobbed a grenade at a security bunker in North Kashmir’s Sopore town today.

Police sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that militants tossed a grenade towards a CRPF bunker that missed the target and exploded on the road.

They said three persons including a trooper sustain minor injuries who all were discharged after receiving first aid from the hospital.

The injured were identified as Abdul Rashid Dar of Watlub Sopore, Ghulam Muhammad Lone of Baghi-e-Sana Sopore and Head Constable CRPF Kartik Kumar.

Searches were conducted after the attack, however, no arrests were made. (KNT)
