Residents of Hanfiya and Ibrahim colony in Sopore on Tuesday staged a protest to press for restoration of water supply.
“We have been suffering immensely due to lack of drinking water supply, Jal Shakhti department has failed to redress our issues,” protesting women who hit the streets near Arampora on Sopore-Bandipora road told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Residents said they are forced to take contaminated water causing health issues.
“The issue will be resolved soon,” an official said—(KNO)
