SRINAGAR , OCTOBER ,11 :
A high levell delegation of Kashmir Traders and Manifacturers Federation (KTMF) paid a visit to the residence of Mirwaiz e Kashmir Molvi Umar Farooq on Tuesday and welcomed the decision of J&K government to release Mirwaiz after four years.
The delegation was headed by president KTMF, Mohammad Yasin Khan and vice president Er Tariq Mughloo, besides presidents of all the prominent traders Federations of Kashmir Valley. The delegation apprised the Mirwaiz about the growing menace of drug addiction in Kashmir and other social evils that are spreading fast in our society and requested Mirwaiz to use his influence as one of the most powerful religious scholar and preacher to help in curbing these social evils. The delegation members urged him to speak on these issues which are threatening our society, especially our younger generation.
