SOPORE, AUGUST 27:
Sopore Police on Friday claimed to have arrested Editor-in-Chief of Kashmir Crown, Shahid Imran at Dangiwicha area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police spokesman in a statement said that Police Station Dangiwacha received an order from Court of law for lodging a case against Chief Editor Kashmir Crown Shahid Imran and Correspondent Ashiq Mir.
On this, a case under FIR number 145/2021 under sections 384, 385, 506 (1) 420 and 120B IPC, was registered in Police Station Dangiwacha, it said.
During the course of investigation one persons namely Ashiq Salam Mir, son of Abdul Salam Mir of Bagh Islam Baramulla was arrested yesterday and today Kashmir Crown’s Chief Editor Shahid Imran Ganie, son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie of Ruhama Rafiabad was formally arrested, police said, adding that the investigation is going on.
