4 dead bodies recovered so far ,1 still missing

RAFIABAD ,SEPTEMBER 12 :

At least five family members of a nomad family from Rajouri were killed while one elderly is still missing who too is believed to be died after massive cloudburst hit Kafarnar Bahak in the upper reaches of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir Range, Sujit Kumar informed that in a tragic incident, a nomad family of Haji Bashir Bakarwal of Rajouri died after massive cloudburst washed them away at Kafarnar bahak Rafiabad.

He added that there were five members, but only one body has been found so far. Others are not expected to have been survived.

The cloud burst trigger flash floods which submerged playfield and several government buildings and school buildings at Watergam Rafaibabad,locals said.

Rescue teams are searching for four others people, who are feared to be buried under the debris have been launched as police teams of Police Station Dangiwacha, Sopore on way.

“The area is very remote, and mobile connectivity is also feeble.Further details are awaited,” he added.

Meanwhile four bodies have been recovered and one us still missing. The bodies which has been recovered have been identified shahnaza begum w/o mohd farooq khari age 30 years tariq ah khari s/o farooq ah khari age 8 years . naziya akhter d/o farooq ahmad khari age 14 years . arif hussain s/o mohd farooq khari age 5 years all are residents Nowshara Rajouri .

one Haji Bashir ah khari s/o chandi khari age 80 years is still missing .farooq ah khari s/o Haji Bashir ah khari is alive and has been rescued
