SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 13 :
The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday reconstituted the 7-member Selection Committee of SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar which will be headed by the Chief Secretary.
As per the order, reads that the reconstituted committee shall comprise In supersession of all the previous orders on the subject, sanction is hereby accorded to the reconstitution of the Selection Committee with the following composition, for making promotions of the faculty members of SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar against clear vacancies and under Assessment Merit Promotion Scheme (AMPS).
It said that the Government has appointed the Chief Secretary as the Chairman of the Committee while the members appointed in the committee including the additional Chief Secretary, Finance department, additional Chief Secretary, Heath and medical education department, prof. MS. khuroo, former director and dean, SKIMS soura, Dean medical faculty, SKIMS Soura, Principal, Government medical college, srinagar.
The order also stated that the principal SKIMS medical college/ Hospital bemina, srinagar has been appointed as Member Secretary.
