National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, on Sunday expressed concerns over the increasing presence of terrorists in the region.
He questioned the central government on how terrorist, reportedly numbering between 200 to 300, have managed to infiltrate the area.
Speaking to a reputed news agency, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, as per the news agency said, how have the terrorist, who are around 200-300, come? From where have they come? Someone is responsible and is double-crossing.
Expressing suspicion about possible lapses in security, he further criticized the government for the loss of lives among security personnel, saying, who is dying? Our Colonel, Major, and soldiers. How is all this happening?
The central government should answer the entire nation; even the Bangladesh border is porous now,” he said, expressing concerns about the security of the country’s borders, particularly the Bangladesh border.
