CII J&K Council took a significant step towards supporting the MSMEs in the region by organizing the first MSME Clinic today on October 30th held at the Lassipora Industrial Estate, Pulwama. This event aimed to address the specific challenges faced by local businesses and promote awareness about available resources and support systems.
CII J&K Council conceptualized the MSME Clinic as a platform to facilitate dialogue between entrepreneurs and experts across multiple sectors. The MSME Clinic brought together a diverse group of specialists who shared insights and practical advice tailored to the needs of local businesses. The event was designed to foster interaction and engagement, allowing participants to ask questions and gain clarity on topics that directly affect their operations. The session commenced with warm welcome remarks from Mr. Haseeb Renzu, Convener CII J&K MSME Panel, who set a positive tone for the event. Mr. Khurshid Dar provided valuable context, outlining the significance of the MSME Clinic and its objectives.

- SIDBI Schemes for MSMEs:
Mr. Mohamad Adil Ahsan, the Asst. General Manager at the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), led a session that focused on the various financial schemes available for MSMEs. He elaborated on the importance of these schemes in providing necessary financial support to businesses, helping them to grow and innovate. - General Insurance Solutions:
Ms. Insha Jan, the Outreach Manager at Bajaj Allianz, provided valuable insights into the importance of insurance for MSMEs. She discussed various insurance products tailored to the needs of businesses, emphasizing how insurance can mitigate risks and protect assets. - Renewable Energy and Solar Panel Installations:
Mr. Ashiq Bhat highlighted the benefits of renewable energy and solar power, for MSMEs, which can reduce operational costs and contribute to sustainability goals. - Sustainability Services by CII:
Mr. Khurshid Dar also discussed sustainability services offered by CII, aimed at helping MSMEs adopt environmentally friendly and cost cutting practices. He highlighted how sustainable practices not only benefit the environment but can also enhance a business’s competitiveness in the market.
The MSME Clinic attracted a large number of participants, illustrating the keen interest and necessity for such initiatives in the region.
