Chief minister Omar Abdullah-led government has set up a public relation-cum-outreach cell at his Gupkar residence in a bid to reach out to the public to address their grievances.

Advisor to the chief minister, Nasir Aslam Wani, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said the aim is to provide a space to the people to reach to the government and get their issues and grievances redressed.

“The cell will remain open during office hours on regular basis. The officers will remain available and the chief minister will also meet the public delegations himself to listen to their grievances,” he said, adding that that roster in this regard will be made public soon.

He added that the cell will not only act as grievances redressal cell, but will also be open to public suggestions as the government belongs to them—(KNO)
