Lays Foundation Stone for Ladwa-Siterwan Road and Inspects High School Balhama

The Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperative & Election, J&K, Javed Ahmad Dar, conducted an extensive tour of the Rafiabad constituency today.The visit focused on reviewing developmental projects, engaging with local delegations, and addressing the public issues.
During his visit, the minister laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Ladwa-Siterwan road in Rohama, a key project that will significantly improve connectivity in the region.Speaking at the ceremony, the minister stated, “The Ladwa-Siterwan road will not only improve access to essential services like healthcare, education and markets but will also boost tourism in the region by providing easier access to the scenic spots in the area, thus contributing to the overall development of Rafiabad.”
Following the foundation stone ceremony, a public meeting was held where the minister addressed the public and outlined the government’s vision for the constituency. He emphasized the government’s commitment to equitable development and assured the public that ongoing projects would be completed in a timely manner.The minister urged the community to actively engage with government schemes and work together to achieve sustainable development in Rafiabad.
The minister also visited High School Balhama, where he interacted with the school management and students.During the visit, the school management raised several key demands, including the provision of computer systems to enhance digital learning for students.The minister assured the school management and students that their request would be given immediate attention. “We understand the importance of modernizing education, and providing computer systems will empower students with the tools needed to excel in today’s digital world,” the minister said.
In addition to laying the foundation stone and visiting the school, the minister met with various delegations, including General public,youth groups and farmers.They raised concerns related to road infrastructure, water supply, Power supply and employment opportunities.The minister assured them that the government is committed to addressing these concerns and urged the community to actively engage with government schemes.
The minister also inspected ongoing developmental projects, such as road construction and agricultural initiatives and directed concerned officers and Engineers to ensure their timely completion.He highlighted measures to support farmers, including improved irrigation systems, financial assistance for seeds and fertilizers and modern farming practices.
