DC B’la Hosts Redressal Camp at Chandoosa; Promptly Resolves Public Grievances & Promotes Welfare Schemes
Baramulla, December 19:
As part of the nation vide campaign “Prashashan Gaon Ki Ore”, the district administration Baramulla today organized grievance redressal camps across all the 26 blocks of the district, addressing the concerns of the public at the grassroot level.
This initiative, a key highlight of the “Good Governance Week” celebrated from December 19 to December 24, brings the administration closer to rural areas for prompt grievance redressal and efficient service delivery.
The grievance redressal camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, including Panchayat representatives, community leaders, and residents from diverse backgrounds voicing their concerns related to essential services such as water supply, electricity, health care, education, road connectivity, and welfare schemes.
Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa accompanied by the officers from all the line departments hosted a grievance redressal camp at the Govt. Higher Secondary School Chandoosa Baramulla, where the concerned citizens put forth their grievances seeking prompt resolution.
The DC swiftly resolved a range of issues on the spot and instructed the concerned departments to expedite the resolution of other grievances raised by the citizens.
Meanwhile, Minga Sherpa highlighted various welfare schemes run by the government such as Mission YUVA, PM-Vishwakarma, HADP and PM-Kusum, underscoring their transformative potential. He urged the public to actively and wholeheartedly take advantage of these schemes to improve their livelihoods and overall well-being.
Later, the DC visited the Community Health Centre (CHC), where he conducted a thorough inspection of the hospital’s facilities. During his visit, the DC engaged with patients, personally inquiring about their satisfaction with the services and amenities provided at the facility.
Such redressal camps were held in all the 26 blocks of the district baramulla including far flung areas like Uri, Rampora Rajpora, Rafiabad Kandi Belt, with officers from all the line departments, attentively listening to and addressing the grievances raised by the concerned citizens.
