Dr Syed Zahoor Geelani, father-in-law of Syed Basharat, Editor-in-Chief Kashmir Despatch passed away after a brief spell of illness at a Delhi hospital.
Dr Geelani was a retired Block Medical Officer and was known for his tireless social services across his locality in Bemina. The deceased was a noble soul and would spare his post retirement time in helping out the needy and destitute in the society.
People from all walks of life have consoled the demise of Dr Geelani and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family besides praying for eternal peace to the departed soul.
