Srinagar, August 19:
A 22-year-old youth was injured after being stabbed by an unknown person in the Soibug area of Budgam district in Central Kashmir on Tuesday evening.
Officials told GNS that unknown persons stabbed a 22-year-old youth, Tariq Ahmad Mir, son of Mohammad Akbar Mir, a resident of Soibugh, with a sharp-edged weapon, causing an injury to his right leg.
He was immediately rushed to PHC Soibugh, from where he was referred to JVC Hospital Bemina for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
