Srinagar, Sep 9:

Four persons were injured in a road traffic accident near Jamkash in Hyderpora area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Tuesday evening.

Officals told news agency that , all the injured were shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment. The injured have been identified as 17-year-old from Housing Colony Bemina, sustained a head injury and is in critical condition while 45-year-old lady from Hyderpora, sustained abdominal injuries and is also critical.

They said further identified the other two injured persons as 18-year-old from Bemina, who sustained facial and left-hand injuries and is stated to be stable another youth as 17-year-old also from Bemina, has suffered multiple injuries and is also stable.

One among injured 17-year-old youth was riding a scooty when he was hit by an unknown vehicle near Jamkash Hyderpora, leading to the accident.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated.
