Art and Culture being used to Connect with Youths,says Joint Director

Joint Director Information, Dr Ahsan Ul Haq Chisti Monday said that the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu and Kashmir has been making efforts to create awareness on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan across the districts.

Speaking with reporters, the joint director, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said art has the healing effect and the department has been using it to create awareness among the youth, especially students to achieve the goal of Nasha Mukht Bharat.

He said that awareness is being created across districts in this regard and that such events will continue in the future as well.

He added that several initiatives are being taken under the ongoing Sewa Parv campaign, which commenced on September 17 and will culminate on October 02.

“Grievance redressal camps and other initiatives like art and culture have also been taken under this campaign,” he said—(KNO)
