Baramulla, October 9:
The International Hindi Olympiad 2025 was held today with great enthusiasm and participation. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from students, with more than 500 participants from various schools across the district appearing for the Olympiad — making it one of the largest gatherings of Hindi learners in recent years.
The occasion was graced by several dignitaries from the Education Department who extended their encouragement and best wishes to the participating students. Among those present were Joint Director (North), Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Zonal Education Officer Baramulla, Principal St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School Baramulla, and Ms. Anjali Om from SCERT. Also in attendance were Heads of Departments from DIET Baramulla and numerous Hindi teachers from the participating institutions.
Addressing the participants, the dignitaries appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and the efforts of the teachers.
