The Kashmir Valley is all set for a blockbuster cricket season as a wave of international and domestic cricket stars prepare to descend on Srinagar for the Indian Heaven Premier League (IHPL)—2025, kicking off on October 25 at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.

According to details accessed by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), several big names from around the cricketing world have been confirmed for the inaugural edition of the IHPL.

The details reveal that among the marquee signings are West Indies legend Chris Gayle, New Zealand’s explosive opener Martin Guptill, Australian star Shaun Marsh, Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and West Indian spinner Garey Mathurin.

Adding to the excitement, former West Indies opener Devon Smith and J&K’s very own Parvez Rasool, along with Ishan Malhotra, are also set to feature in the tournament, bringing a blend of international flair and local pride to the Valley.
