In a significant development for the healthcare infrastructure of Baramulla, several major projects have been approved, bringing new hope and better medical facilities to the district.

These key projects, sanctioned with the active efforts of Honourable MLA Javid Hassan Baigh Sahib, mark a transformative step in strengthening health services in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The approved projects include:

  1. MRI Machine — ₹25 crore
  2. Transfer of Industrial Land to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla
  3. Drug De-Addiction Centre at GMC Baramulla — ₹5 crore
  4. Digital X-Ray Facility — ₹2 crore
  5. Free 108 Ambulance Service for GMC Baramulla
  6. Cath Lab (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory) — ₹12.5 crore
  7. Waste Management (ICD) Project — ₹80 lakh
  8. Allotment of 50 Kanals of Land for Ayush College

These initiatives are expected to revolutionize healthcare access and infrastructure in Baramulla, ensuring better diagnostic, emergency, and treatment facilities for the public.
