DDC Directed all Departments to Ensure Strict Adherence to Timelines and Quality Parameters.

Baramulla, November 12:

District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a comprehensive meeting to review the sector-wise physical and financial progress of works proposed under the District Capex Budget 2025–26.

During the meeting, the DDC took a detailed appraisal of ongoing and completed works across various sectors, including Rural Development, Education, Health, PWD, Jal Shakti, and others. Officers briefed the chair about the status of projects, expenditure incurred, and targets achieved so far.

Emphasizing timely completion and judicious utilization of funds, the DDC directed all departments to ensure strict adherence to timelines and quality parameters. He also called for close monitoring of works to avoid delays and to ensure visible impact at the grassroots level.

The DDC further instructed officers to expedite the tendering and allotment processes for pending works so that execution can be taken up well before the onset of winter. He stressed the importance of achieving 100% financial and physical progress within the stipulated timeframe.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, ACD,SEs, Executive Engineers of line departments, Block Development Officers, and other concerned officers.
