DGP Prabhat Visits Home of Slain Constable Ajaz Ahmad Mir; Spl DG, IGP Kashmir, DIG SKR Visit Residence of Slain Constable Ajaz Ahmad Mir, Assure Full Support to Bereaved Family

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir on Monday visited the Gazaliabad HMT residence of Senior Grade Constable Ajaz Ahmad Mir, one of the nine police personnel who lost their lives in the Nowgam Police Station blast.

As per news agency KNC that the top officers met the family members of the deceased constable and offered condolences on behalf of the Police Department.

During the visit, DGP Prabhat told reporters that J&K Police will continue to stand firmly with the families of all personnel who were killed in the tragic explosion. “We will never forget them,” he said, adding that necessary assistance will be extended to each family affected by the incident.

He said he had conveyed a message of patience and strength to the bereaved families and reaffirmed that support measures are being coordinated for all nine personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty. (KNC)
