On 26 November, 2025 Baramulla Police commemorated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) 2025 across the district with solemnity, enthusiasm, and a collective pledge to uphold the core principles of the Indian Constitution and reaffirming the adoption of the Constitution of India and to honour its values, principles and vision.
The principal ceremony took place at the District Police Headquarters (DPHQ), and District Police Lines (DPL) Baramulla, where senior officers, leading the event, administered the Constitutional Pledge to the assembled officers and officials. In the address, the officer emphasized the paramount importance of adhering to the constitutional ethos, urging all personnel to uphold the spirit of justice, equality, and integrity while executing their policing responsibilities. Emphasis was placed on ensuring that the constitutional mandate is followed meticulously in service of the public.
Similar oath-taking and Preamble reading ceremonies were conducted at all Police Stations, Police Posts, offices and other units across the district. where senior officers highlighted the significance of adhering to constitutional ethos and urged personnel to uphold justice, equality, and integrity and to ensure that the mandate of the Constitution is upheld in letter and spirit while serving the public.
Baramulla Police remains dedicated to safeguarding the rights of citizens, strengthening democratic ideals, and ensuring the rule of law is upheld in the district, thereby preserving and promoting the core values of the Indian Constitution.
