Kathua, Jan 7 :

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting of ongoing and proposed development works in Kathua district.

According to a post on X by the Office of the Chief Minister, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC), the meeting was attended by Cabinet Ministers, Advisor to the Chief Minister, the District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson and MLAs from the district.

During the review, the Chief Minister directed all departments to fast-track the execution of sanctioned projects and ensure timely completion of works. He also stressed the need to improve power and water supply, strengthen healthcare and education infrastructure, and maintain strict district-level monitoring to ensure visible on-ground impact of development initiatives.
