KUPWARA, JANUARY 19:
As part of the nationwide commemoration marking 150 years of the national song “Vande Mataram”, Phase-II of the celebrations was held with great enthusiasm at the premises in Sub Division Handwara.
The event saw active participation from students of different schools,who showcased their talent through a Quiz competition and Patriotic Cultural Programmes, and police band, adding vibrancy and energy to the celebration.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner,(ADC), Handwara, Javed Naseem Masoodi highlighted the significance of the day and the enduring spirit of patriotism that the National song ” Vande Mataram “instills in every Indian.
As part of the event, certificates of appreciation were distributed among students and other participants to recognize their efforts and contribution to making the celebration a success.
The celebration concluded on high note, reinforcing the values of national pride, unity, and love for the motherland among the young generation.
The Programme was attended by Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Handwara, Sahil Sarangal, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Zonal Education officer Handwara, Zonal Education officer Rajwar, besides officers from all line departments of Sub division level, reflecting a strong sense of community involvement and support for the celebration.
