Srinagar, Jan 25 :

Flight operations at Srinagar airport were running smoothly on Sunday, officials said adding that three flights were cancelled due to NOTAM in Delhi.

An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that, three flights to and from Srinagar (SXR) have been cancelled today due to a NOTAM in force at Delhi Airport. Passengers have been advised to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before heading to the airport.

Meanwhile, officials said that light snow and rain are currently being experienced at Srinagar Airport. Minor snow accumulation has been observed on the apron area, which is being continuously cleared by the concerned teams to ensure smooth operations.

“Flight operations are presently underway, though some flights may face delays,” officials said, advising passengers to stay in touch with their respective airlines for real-time updates.

Authorities appreciated the patience and cooperation of passengers amid the prevailing weather conditions. —(KNC)
