Lachipora Uri, In a significant step towards women empowerment and self-employment, the Indian Army under Operation Sadbhavana, in collaboration with Royal Skill & Technology, inaugurated a Cutting and Tailoring Training Centre at Lachipora, Uri in Presence of DDC Boniyar Mohammad Ismail Khan, Army official and Chairman Royal Skill and technology Owais Aziz Banday.The initiative aims to provide skill-based training to local girls, enabling them to become self-reliant and financially independent. Through professional training in cutting and tailoring, the project seeks to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for young women in the border area.Local residents welcomed the initiative and expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and Royal Skill & Technology for focusing on skill development and employment generation. The program is expected to play a vital role in strengthening community welfare, promoting self-employment, and empowering women in the Uri region.
