Roads, power, tourism, industry and 4G-optical fibre expansion reviewed at high-level meeting; stresses timely execution, inter-agency coordination for public welfare

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Saturday chaired a high-level review meeting in Jammu to assess the progress of ongoing development projects in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per details available with news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, During the meeting, Amit Shah undertook a comprehensive review of major sectors, including road infrastructure, power, industry, tourism, and digital connectivity, with a special focus on the expansion of 4G services and optical fibre networks across the region.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Union Home Secretary, and senior officials from the Central Government as well as the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
Home Minister Ami Shah stressed the need for timely execution of projects and effective coordination between agencies to ensure sustainable development and improved public service delivery in the Union Territory. (KNC)
