Srinagar, November 17 :

At least four militants including a TRF commander have been killed in the ongoing gunfights at two separate places in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said here on Wednesday.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that two gunfights broke out in Gopalpora and Pombay villages of Kulgam district this evening.

He said that in the ensuing gunfights four militants have been killed, while further operation was in progress.

Earlier, police said that encounter broke out in Pombay village of Kulgam and moments after another gunfight broke out in Gopalpora village.

Police said that two unidentified militants have been killed in Pombay encounter, while two more were killed in Gopalpora encounter.

They said that in Gopalpora encounter militant commander of TRF outfit, Afaq Sikandar has been killed. (KNS)
