Jammu, March 01 :

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday urged all communities to remain peaceful and maintain calm amid protests reported from parts of Kashmir following the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

As per details available with news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, the Lieutenant Governor chaired a high-level security review meeting in Jammu to take stock of the prevailing situation across the Union Territory.

In a post on X, LG Sinha called upon people to uphold peace and harmony and lauded the police and security forces for their coordinated efforts in maintaining law and order. He said he salutes the unwavering and synchronized resolve of the forces in ensuring stability across J&K.

The administration continues to monitor the situation closely to ensure peace is maintained. (KNC)
