Srinagar, 3 March
Deputy Inspector General Of Police North, Maqsood-ul-Zaman along with DIG CRPF North, visited several locations in Sopore, Bandipora and adjoining areas of Baramulla District to review law and order situation in the wake of middle east crisis.
An official told GNS that they were accompanied by senior officers from the Police and CRPF. The officials inspected security and law and order arrangements on the ground and issued necessary directions to ensure peace and public safety across the region.
The DIG also appealed to the local public to maintain peace and cooperate with the security agencies.
