New Delhi, March 7 :

The price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 60, sources said on Friday.

With the latest revision, the cost of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi has risen from Rs 853 to Rs 913. The new rate has come into effect from March 7.

Sources said the price hike will apply to domestic LPG cylinders supplied across the country, with slight variations depending on local taxes and transportation charges in different states and Union Territories.

The increase in cooking gas prices is expected to impact household budgets, as LPG remains a primary cooking fuel for millions of families across India.

Further details regarding revised rates in other cities are awaited.(KNC)
