Baramulla | 25 March 2026:

Baramulla Police informs that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel and supply across the district is normal. Public is advised not to believe rumors or indulge in panic buying.

Spreading misinformation or hoarding fuel in jerrycans/canisters is illegal. Any fuel pump or individual involved in such practices will face strict legal action.

Police has also taken note of an incident at Bandi Bala, Chandoosa, where a vehicle carrying LPG cylinders was blocked.

Such interference in essential supply is a punishable offence and will not be tolerated.

Baramulla Police urges all citizens to remain calm, cooperate with authorities, and rely only on official information.
