Srinagar, May 18:

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday conducted an on-site inspection of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board’s Yatri Niwas at Pantha Chowk and reviewed the progress of ongoing construction works and arrangements being put in place for pilgrims.

During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor assessed the status of infrastructure development and facilities being created for devotees ahead of the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra.

He directed the concerned officials to accelerate the pending works and ensure their completion within the stipulated timeframe so that all necessary facilities are made available to the pilgrims before the commencement of the Yatra.

The LG also stressed the importance of maintaining quality standards and ensuring smooth arrangements for the convenience and safety of the yatris.(KNC)
