Srinagar, June 25th :
The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Thursday conducted a search at a residence in the Beerwah area of Budgam district as part of an investigation into a case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
Sources said an SIA Jammu team, led by Inspector Anil Sharma, searched the residence of Nazir Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Rehman Mir, a resident of Mir Mohalla, Chewdara, Beerwah.
The search was carried out in connection with FIR No. 01/2025 registered at Police Station JIC SIA Jammu under Sections 13, 18, 18-B, 38 and 39 of the UAPA.
No official statement has been issued regarding the outcome of the operation.
