Srinagar, July 7: The Jammu & Kashmir Jal Shakti Department has issued appointment orders to 329 Junior Engineers (Civil) out of the 346 candidates selected by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), significantly strengthening the Department’s technical workforce.

According to an official statement, the newly appointed Junior Engineers have been posted across various wings of the Department to enhance its engineering and technical capabilities.Welcoming the appointees, Javed Ahmed Rana, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, congratulated the newly recruited engineers and expressed confidence that they would uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and dedication while serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister also appreciated the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB)for conducting the recruitment process in a transparent and time-bound manner and for promptly submitting the select list to the Department. He further lauded the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), J&K for expeditiously completing the character and antecedent verification of the selected candidates, enabling the timely issuance of appointment orders.

Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, also extended his best wishes to the newly appointed Junior Engineers for a successful career in public service. He expressed hope that the officers would discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, integrity, and dedication while ensuring efficient, effective, and quality service delivery in the larger public interest.
